Giveaway!

Yesterday I wrote a book review on Bouquet Chic. To remind you, in case you've read about 35 other wedding blog posts since then, I said I adored it. I think many of you would adore it as well, brides and planners alike. Anyway, the giveaway. This morning, the author, Kimberly Aurora Kapur sent me an email this morning and has given me a copy to give to one lucky reader. Simply comment with your favorite bouquet flower(s) and we'll include you in the drawing. We'll pick a winner on Friday.

This is one of the ribbon treatments that I had mentioned to Kimberly that I thought was more than photo worthy. I've always been a fan of monograms, and I can see this one being an item that would hold sentimental value after the wedding.Photo Credits: Jim Henkens

Marvelous Monograms & More

I know, I have blogged about monograms like 3 times this year already. But I like 'em, what can I say? Yesterday I came across this website and I got so excited when I clicked on the monograms page. This is not your ordinary run of the mill monogram shop! I LOVED so many of them I couldn't narrow down one if I tried. You must go check it out. Really, I think Kristin at I do Originals is just an amazing designer and I can't wait to use her stuff.

Fuschia & Orange

No longer do I live in fear of Orange or Fuschia! This weekends destination wedding events were great. Lots of color, great music, fantastic entertainment, and a very happy bride & groom. Click here or on Susan & Jim on the sidebar to go to their wedding blog.

Custom Weddings

You all know that I am all about everything being custom. Every wedding is without a doubt different, but making that extra effort to be unique is what makes each wedding unforgettable. Lucky for us the next issue of Martha Stewart Weddings is focusing on customizing your weddings! I can't wait to get my hands on it of course. It will be on newsstands Monday.
This favor is one of my favorites ever. If you have time, you can make them yourself. Or, bring the photo to your local baker and ask for a quote- you might be surprised how inexpensive they can be. To customize them, order extra monogram stickers or seals with your wedding invitations and place them on the top of the box to secure the ribbon.

So pretty I had to share it

I came across this website this morning while I was looking for a newer way to use the "Wedding Monogram". They do all kinds of monograms, but I just thought that this runner was fantastic. You can get this runner (for just over $100), and about any other kind of monogramed item at Filigree Monogram Designs
