White Pumpkin and Gray wedding {Hello Lovely} Vol. 3

Last week I found a welcome surprise in my inbox, an email from one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Paige married Corey exactly a year ago. In her email she said, "I don't know if you'll remember me..." My reaction? Complete and utter shock. Why? Because I never forget my clients! This I can say for sure - I take weddings to heart. Each and every wedding is a celebration to me that I feel privileged to be a part of.  I cry tears of joy at every single one and usually, I cry on the way home from the farewell brunch realizing that we had another great wedding {joy}, but that there is one less person who will be a part of my daily life {sadness}.
A bigger surprise came a few days later, on Paige & Coreys wedding anniversary when we received a super sweet gift from her with a thank you note that brought me to tears.  Paige; thank you so much for even thinking about us on your wedding anniversary - you'll never know how incredibly wonderful it made me feel.  The chocolate covered strawberries lasted all of 2.4 minutes!
To wrap up this White Pumpkin and Gray wedding series, here are a few more of the details captured by Ashley Brockinton.
Tip: If you have little details that you really want to have pictures of, be sure to let your photographers know in advance.  If your photographer doesn't know there were super cute drink flags at the lemonade station that you spent 4 hours making, you might not get that picture!
How perfectly sweet was this wedding? Happy Anniversary Paige & Corey!

White Pumpkin and Gray wedding {Hello Lovely} Vol. 2

A fall wedding but not fall colors. Frankly, I love the idea. Particularly for a chic outdoor pool deck or beach ceremony.
This palette of blush, white, and gray (pewter) is so sophisticated and elegant.
One thing to note about any event you have next to a pool - you can't have glass!  Make sure that your floral designer has acrylic containers available or consider maybe using baskets, wood or pumpkins.

One of the sweetest moments during this ceremony came when the groom Corey literally got weak at the knees.  His best man and brother quickly had him sit down.  Paige came over to him and the moment he was able to just look at her and say how truly happy he was at that moment...all was well.  The only exception, I (along with everyone in attendance) was balling.  Hands down the most heartwarming moment. Oh my gosh, I'm crying again just reliving this.

White Pumpkin and Gray wedding {Hello Lovely} Vol. 1

Who doesn't love a white pumpkin?  They're a perfect foundation for a white design concept for a fall weather wedding.  Gray and pewter have without a doubt been the color of the year so I am excited to share with you this wedding that we were so happy to be a part of one year ago this week.  Paige & Corey got married at Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Ft Myers, Florida last October.  Their wedding was one that I will never forget for a few reasons.  First of all Paige was just hands down one of the sweetest brides I have ever had the opportunity to know.  Secondly, her color palette stole my design heart.  I could not have been more in love with the gun metal gray bridesmaids dresses paired with the blush rose bouquets by Signature Florals.
Can I confess to one of my pet peeves?  I absolutely detest votive or tealight candles around a wedding cake.  Wedding cakes are so often a work of art, the candles just fuss up the table.  So, leave the cake table alone.  Until it is time to cut the cake, let it stand alone on the table in all its glory. This pretty cake was created by none other than Ella's Cakes of Naples.
For Paige and Cory's wedding we designed the floor plan with a Grand Table where all the wedding party & their guests sat with the bride & groom.  I also placed the cake right in front of the grand table so that it would be another focal point in the room {don't stick the cake in the corner if at all possible}.

Next up, the wedding ceremony. Just so pretty.  Bring on the pumpkins.
I love this shot by Ashley Brockinton.  Something very intriguing about it, don't you think?
